Luuk Hartsema Logo
In 2005 I have decided to make use of my current logo which is based on my initials. I have chosen this logo out of a few designs because of the exciting lines and the shape/rest shape that is playing with the letters. It is a clear and easy to recognize symbol but I felt it needed a update.
I wanted to add a message or a extra value. I have chosen too work the logo out in different materials and 3D so it would get a visual touch ability. If you see it you know how it would feel if you touch it. Using these materials also represents a communicative value. Glass for example would represent transparency, openness and honesty.
This update give a lot of new possibilities. For Christmas I’m planning to work the logo out as a den tree branch with some Christmas balls. That should be a nice concept for Christmas cards. Despite the new 3D models I’m still using my basics.
